That's insane Mr. Bradley....How about if I fly you down here to Texas to make my car exactly like that? Getting that kind of power out of the STOCK turbo really says something.

Talk about getting the most out of your mods, rather than using bigger turbos as bandaids

Wow, very impressive. Why are you changing to 11:1 compression?

John, what's the highest compression ratio you would recommend with a 93oct+100%meth injection application?

To maximise the possible power with the airflow we have, so in this case the stock turbo. We havent run into knock that wasnt self induced (read way past MBT), so since ethanol is Methanol's baby brother we are using some of the same rules to make the power.

Honestly, on gasoline/meth I wouldnt go over 9.5:1 because if the meth fails at any point the high compression has no room for error. Alcohol (in this case ethanol) is kind of a special case so we get to have our cake and eat it too.

There will be a full tech post in the weeks to come when the car is fully broken in and redyno'd. One thing that you might find interesting though is we are running 4 EGT probes linked to the AEM. The car cruises about 300* cooler than an equivalent stock compression gas car, and at WOT is still about 300* less than where a typical high boost pull would be.

Ethanol is awesome. when everyone really finds out how good it is we will see many running 11/1 and higher. drag cars can run 14/1 and 55lbs of boost.

have a friend running e85 on 10/1. he says his gas mileage is same as gas, he said he can cruise at 18/1 a/f with no misfire.
