It's an IX core, as far as I know they don't do the VIII conversion. The car definitely has more in it, it was picking up 28 mph from the 1/8 to the 1/4. The 1-2 lock-out was completely killing the whole pass, best ET was only 12.8 with a 1.7x 60'. If I really cared about drag racing this car I'd put a different clutch in it, but that's not really why I built this car.
