Of course i asked more information on their automatic transmission and setup and various people from their camp are claiming that its still a manual... anyway i will not even bother arguing...

this is the 8.84 @ 248 km

BTW this is a dogbox Impreza that did one good pass at 9.0 @ 258 km just for comparison...

On a side note on the same race a Greek developed and built Audi S3 with the 3.2 6 cylinder motor on the street class probably broke the world record in the VW cars with a 8.844 @ 258 km and a best trap of 259 km at 2.1 bar boost pressure and a stock gearbox with just the 3rd and 4th gears modified to hold the power...

this is a 9.1 @ 259 km

and this a 8.902 @ 258 km

if i get more videos i will post.

The 2000 bhp EVO didn't come or any other EVO in the really fast classes.
the first video for sure was automatic lol. now the question is, why are they lying? lol.

air shifted dogbox will sound just like an auto
plus there was no time spent spooling the converter

i really dont think that was air shifting.. they do not sound the same.. i driven in a air shifted evo.. with a stm ghost shifter setup.

the shifts sounded way to smooth to be a dog box.. i dont know.. id be surprised if it were the ghost shifter. i guess its possible though.

well in this vid it for sure has the dog box;

I don't think that's true. If a gearbox with a cough was shifting so smoothly, sounding almost like slipping then you you need a clutch after every run.

The STM drag Evo with the air shifter, the silver US street Evo, and every other dogbox we have seen when it shifts the changes are violent to say at least.

Anyway, I am interested to see that kind of transmission setup they have. I won't be surprised if it was converted to solid axle in the back with an auto like esx Motorsports or Rigolli Performance...

I don't know if there is video of the 197 floating around or not, that was the best mph the car ever had, not on it's best E.T. run though.

It is definitely full interior all glass but I don't think it's this heavy.

That was my car and never got any parts. E.T. Was supposed to send cams, turbo, intake manifold ect and nothing. Thank god I never sent them any money! Cause if I would have got a manifold that looked like that I would have got on a plane and stopped in Naples to pick up some family members then proceed to Greece.
