so iam assuming you had not drive one with a fp red yet. ben j. incorrect about black outperfrom red in ever aspect. First the black dont spool quicker than red. Second the red can go beyond 700 on dj. Third the fastest timeslip for black is like 9.54second 1/4. The fastest with the red is like 9.52. 1/4 mile. run. Please do some research before talking trash about others people stuff. thanks. You got the black, doenst mean u r on top of the world. Peace brother.

Okay, please read the post VERY carefully. That was 100% back to back, without retuning for the more efficient compressor of the black. With barely any more boost and less than I normally tune straight pump cars to (a Red is done at 27psi on 92 around here) it was up 46whp with 1* of timing.

This turbo has made 675whp at full boost on E85, so it is ALOT better than a Red.

INCORRECT totally. The best that has been done on a DJ is 565whp from 9sec9 on Swytzer's dyno.

HAHA...let me convert for you there turbo. 450/390 mustang = 520/450 dynojet. Oh, and I have full torque at 4700 as well. And to clarify, yes, I have driven in an evo with a red. Not trying to wipe it in your face, just don't come into this thread saying that a 40whp increase without changing anything isnt impressive. Oh, and you have a good day too, lol.

^lol! I guess it pays to be a mod, per TTP E's post!

Even though his account is disabled I wanted to mention that I'll take ~30whp (same tune) to ~45whp (dialed), and only 200rpm lag for a difference of only $50 anyday!

Red + oil line = $1950 (unless prices have changed)
Black w/included oil line = $2000

*edit - or someone could ****** up this smoking deal: fp-black + extras

Scott,

Well Daniel has the only car that has a Black in the area that is on gas. I havent had a chance to do a straight pumpgas tune, but based on what I have seen on 92 and 50/50 I would think 475-480whp is doable. There is a built 2.4 that everything willing will be on the dyno that will be only 92.
