if its a daily driver street car you'll have more fun with a 2.3, but from reading what you said in here you might actually like a 2.0 or 2.1 or even a 2.4 (best of both worlds) better because you will beable to rev the **** out of it vs a 2.3 .. id say the stock tq limit on block is 450 not 400.

im surprised you could even floor the car in 5th gear from a low rpm, most cars will choke doing that, its to much airflow for the engine speed / load.

those were great numbers though while they lasted, im sure the car felt crazy considering how soon boost hit

All these so called cars doing crazy numbers on stock block all end the same way with the block blowing . Forget that lol. I say either 2.0 or 2.3 all the way. A 2.3 is a pure beast and will improve spool etc. I say a 2.2 would be the best of everything but the custom parts needed to make one makes it less then desirable but i think he is going 2.3 for the ftw all i know is your 2.3 im 2.3 maybe we are on to something

What would you consider crazy numbers? I had a nice setup and my block never blew, my bottom end was as stock as they come.
