Il have to look back at my logs for the maf hz, but it was peaking at 420% load.

Nice power.
I have a question regarding o2 dump. If you install an o2 dump then recirculate it back further down the downpipe, do you still that would give up too much of the power gains? this would be a nice solution for the loud sound...

recirc will usually result in a few hp less then a dump setup...the larger the recirc tube/pipe and the farther downstream it gets recirculated in the less turbulance and a restriction it will be and result in less hp losses

Thank you. Reason I ask is because I'm currently hitting 467 load @ 35psi with my set up but my VDR graphs show only about 460wtq. My MAF hz are just past 3000 @ 7K rpm. ( I had to stop there because my AFRs were steadily climbing towards 13:1 ) Power on my VDR graph shows 565whp at that point. I need to get the car on a real dyno to see, but based on your graph I wonder if mine would be hitting similar tq #s. on your dyno. Too bad you guys are so far away from me.
Thanks again. It's nice to get some info from high hp stock ecu/maf guys

awesome tuning dirk. Looks like you've got some excellent tuning skills. Also, how much more power do you think the SD will add?

Its hard to say. The MAF sensor has been proven to be pretty restrictive. That turbo is pulling in alot of air at that boost level, when the intake tract is completely free of restriction, it should pick up quite a bit. Im thinking anywhere from 10-20. Between the o2 dump going on, removing the MAF and running a 4" intake; id like to get it up around 650.

nice diirk, but hey, wanna ask u this, i know u trying to extract more hp to get 650, why not bolt on a huge turbo kit , like a 42r or something. Isnt that easy to get 700,800hp?I mean u running e85, so that help out a lot on spooling big turbo right?

why would you want a turbo that makes full boost @ 7k rpm?? Doesn't sound like much fun to drive now does it.. A fast car isn't built by peak HP its built by a setup that has a fat power band.. a 42r is pretty extinct.. we ran 8s on a t3 with 2 cars already... who needs a 42r??

I noticed your signature and if your putting a 42r on for 800hp you need to rethink your setup.. Not to mention on a 2.4L is not ideal..

Mike

I believe it was 94awdcoupe that said it, but you typically want the smallest turbo possible for your power goal. That way you have the biggest powerband. Power under the curve is a lot more valuable than peak power.
