very nice power. im seeing 30psi before 4k tho on my 2.3 does the 2.0 really have that much trouble spooling the black? or it might be because of my other parts also? either way your sheet looks very good.

so i have this exact set up but with a stock motor, and an fp-red @ 32-33psi on E85

so if i went to a black and tried to boost in the 33-35 range and still kept the stock motor....will it be ok?

im wanna get as close as possible to 600hp and 500tq while keeping the stock motor.

i read on a guy with a blue evo named emery that was thought to be in that ball park for a while running on a stock block.

so in ur opionion's a do-able dream?

500tq on stock block is to much. The rods tend to let loose right around the 475-500tq mark on a well tuned setup. Honestly anything above 450tq is asking for trouble if you start to knock. It doesn't take much to blow your motor at that point.

yes its pretty torquey, but on my stock 2L i was still spooling a red by 3700 so i dont see how the op has so much lag till 4400?? from what i understand the black should only be about 200rpm more lag than red.

its do-able but it wont last very long. it will be on a limited life. it could last years, months, or days. it all depends on the tune and how happy the motor is.

^ OP may not have changed his MIVEC/timing maps with the S2s and the Black. That could be a reason for his lag or a simple boost leak... However he seems like he is squared away so not quite sure why it is like that. I hit full boost on my Red at 3800 with a magnus v5 and a 4in FMIC...

I am running a stock block, and stock head minus buddy club 264/272 cams and ARP headstuds and make 546 awhp and 506 tq with a GT30R at 31 psi, 93 octane and methanol. 600 is going to be pushing it, and would at least suggest putting some drop in pistons, rods, and ARP rod bolts.

How long have you been running your car at 500tq? That's pretty ballzy...

What other mods do you have? Intake manifold, how many cc's of meth you running, etc... also do you have a standard 3065, 3076, or hta3076? Nice power by the way. I plan on hitting 550+ on my red in a few weeks. I'm switching to E85 and a few other upgrades...
