With that said, if I were to buy here this month, I would still probably go BBK-B based on everything I am learning and my goals for things.
Who is selling it for that price with CAMS? dang...very very tempting...

I'm interested in the HKS turbo as well, but can we get this thread back on topic. This is a BBK-B thread....

I was worried that I would have to pick this up before my build was complete, but since it's taking CBRD so long to get this turbo out, I really don't have to sweat it.

I'm sure the time will be totally worth it, regardless.

had to finalize some things guys,

the car on the dyno made 417whp/343 wtq at 25.6 psi tapering to 24.2, but I am not finished, we are tinkering with a few last details of the oil feed line, so its been on and off the dyno.

cb

edit- we are just waiting on the oil lines to be built, we had to revise one fitting on the end, and once they are completed, we can start shipping BBK-B's

^Why such low boost? I know you guys like to run the regular BBKs to 27psi+.

Sounds great! What is the diff between the first test car laying down 457 HP and this car doing 417? Obviously boost, anything else? Do you have an eta on release or pricing info ironed out yet? Still looking forward to hearing from you to make the final choice on the full or the b, great work sir!

The car that made 457whp was set up as follows:
evo ix
Headgames head- s2 cams
cbrd jmfab manifold
invidia o2 housing
cbrd garrett core fmic
perrin intake perrin filter
1000cc injectors
3" tback
cbrd licp

the car that made 417 is as follows:
evo ix
jam springs/retainer upgrade, mild cossie cam
MEGAN o2 housing (smaller than the invidia)
full race manifold (we see slightly better results out of the JMF made for us)
cbrd tune and fin fmic
perrin inlet pipe, blitz filter
1000cc injectors
3" tback
jmfab ic pipes

the 457whp car was at aroun 28.9 psi I believe, this car was run at lower boost! since not everyone is going to run 28-30 psi. The bearings will handle over 30psi now

car feels awesome on the street.

I will try to scratch up some overlays, the BBKB 417whp car made around 400whp on the BBK but it was 30 degrees cooler, the margin should be greater!

im doing another one this week hopefully.
