ok listen, an hta86 on a 2.0 averages around 25psi arouns 5-5200 with good cams and stock IM,TB thats with an .82 ar. so your telling me by going to a .63 ar this kid picked up 6-800rpms of spool? your kidding me right. a regular gt35r on a 2.0 sees 25psi around 44-4600 with a .82 are you your telling me a .63 ar gt35r should hit 25psi around36-3800 rpm? really as good as a green? come on this kid is just confused he has a regular gt35r on the car. 440whp on 27 psi on a dynojet??? come on every logical piece of evedince points to a regular gt35r of even an hta 35r..

im only trying to clear this up because we always bug on noobs when they ask dumb questions about set-ups and we tell them to search. nd i dont want to mislead some noob into thinking he can buy an HTA86 and see 27psi at 4400 rpms... i just wanna keep the facts clean. and something just doesnt sit right about this set-up

If you'd guys would like to post your MIVEC maps, I'd be happy to look at them. There is no skewing of the numbers as there is no need to, and not to mention, its on a DYNOJET.

The turbo is an HTA3586 that had been upgraded from a previous standard 35. He then had FP fit the .63 hotside on the car because he wanted to spool, which apparently works as you guys seem to think a Unicorn has landed.

For those of you posting your setups with spool rates, what gear are you in ? This is a 4th gear pull which may account for a bit of your spooling mystery. I typically only tune in 4th as I like having as much data as possible.

.This whole thread is very misinformed with the setup...Now you say it's 4th gear pulls..Even that wouldn't make it spool like that..I think everyone is confused about this turbo It was a regular 35r then he upgraded toa hta 35 r with a 63 ar housing not a 3586..Let me ask you a question what spools faster a 6262 .63. or a 3586 with a so called 63 ar housing??

I read it the wrong way my bad on that one.Why is the power so low for almost 28 psi??The power doesn't match up to a 3586

As TbTalon stated, I bought the turbo from him and I sent it off to fp to get it converted. Initially, I was talking to Aniel to actually swap the hotside as well to something bigger, but then he suggested that I should give the 63 a try first then see how it performs. BTW Aniel, thank u very much for taking the time in answering all my 52354 questions thru the past 5 months with regards to the fp turbo line up! Really appreciate ur patience with my noob questions..lol
Here is a copy of my receipt and few pictures I have taken of it!

And here is a pic of it fresh out of the box

I hope the above assures people that it is an 86, and its not this cute lil thing below..lol

keep the discussion going fellas, appreciate all of ur comments!
