EVO IXMR, you seem to have a bit of disbelief in you. ... I'd imagine since you have been on 3 dynojets that read similar, they all must read the same. Let me ask you this... what does a stock IX baseline on those 3 similar dynojets ? In my experience, typically on a mustang dyno, a stock IX will base somewhere in the range of 240 to 250, in some cases a little lower. Dynojets, you can do the math and add that 11 or 12 percent. I baselined a bone stock IX with a drop in air filter and manual boost controller and it baselined at 250, same day, same tuner, same dyno within a couple hours of each other. So, if my math serves me correct, take the 450 multiply by 1.11.... carry the 1, divide by 7 multiply by 7 and then uncarry the 1, you come out with a number roughly around 500 ? In the end... who gives a rats *** about numbers. This car wasnt built to break records, it was built to spool, and judging by your comments, you seem pretty impressed with that portion, so, what was set out to be accomplished was, end of story. It shouldnt take a member of these boards to post pictures, post receipts, post anything, to satisfy one's disbelief. If we'd a claimed 900whp on 87oct with 2 lbs of boost, obviously some doubt shows up.... however, Ali simply posted the numbers he made on a mildly aggressive tune to make the car exactly how he wanted it and to give you guys a little bit of insight on the work he has done to get the car where it is today. There aren't any excuses, isn't a reason to make any. The car made what it made, owner is happy, and the car feels awesome on the street. OK ?

Really cause my math shows 1 year and 2 months, not years.

I think honestly the hotside is a factor to the top end power. Who's 35 with .63 hotside around us has seen 500whp with a .63 on pump ? I can't think of a single person close.

The dyno jet that I used has put.down anywhere from 233 to 244 to wheels every car is different. The mustang dyno you have used in the past is pointless and not a low reading dyno.

I know someone personally who made 500 whp and then put down 510 on a d.j after the tune.yes this car spooled impressive but never thought a 86 with a small back housing would do this by that much.

I was just curious to see how it felt from the spool cause I never seem a big Turbo do this with a stock 2.0 liter.

Its funny how you jump on other peoples threads about their swtupsbut when someone says something about.yours you get very deffensive!!I'm glad the person is happy .

And I have been on this form since 06.lol.

I've been on here since 03. It's not being defensive it's a lot to do with the fact that you were flat out calling the owner a liar about what he knows his setup is.

Anyhow. I know that mustang does not read as low as it use to. I have been saying that for awhile.

To be honest as well every IX with a 35r and .63 I have played with spools any different than this does. My last car especially spooled just like this and made the same power. It's really nothing new to me.

Glad your enjoying the car Ali. I think you got the first HTA3586 with a .63 hotsode. Good results, you need to get on some E-85. Save you some money on gas and other obvious reasons. I was never a fan of the red you had on the car when I was back in NC. Good choice of turbo.

I think that sums up the entire thread, shouldn't be any discussion after that

The goal was spool, it was achieved and some decent power was made at the same time. Keep in mind the set-up is far from maxed. I'm sure Spec-Ops could have gotten plenty more power out at the same boost level but at Ali's request it was kept mild. Simple as that.

I don't really see the .63 causing too much problems until he starts pushing the turbo into the 32-35+ range. Then i'd see it causing problems and hurting the performance...but the trade off is great spool.

In the end if he really wanted to make more power he's got TWO housings to upgrade to and let the turbo do it's work.
