look at freddys thread i posted in this thread. and compare power and spool up to my graph.

I know I seen lots of turbos with your combo I have almost the same turbo..I told what to do ..S.d and a new tuner but be aware of who does the s.d of else your gonna have cold start issues,vs table enrichments,and the car will have jitters .

I was trying to do speed density but the tuner did not want to do it. so we went back to maf tuning. The tuner could not get the car to idle with the ac on and run properly is that an issue with speed density with your tuner?

Did you see the graph on post 11 in this thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-pull-vdr.html he is making almost 560 whp at 27 psi. im only making 585 and im at 35 psi. I have a magnus a ported head with over sized valves over him. I should be well into the 600's but im not and i also do not have extra top end over kouzman. The tuner who works for the shop ct sucks. He is never on time for tune appointments, and is always very late. In about the same weather when I was tuned at the shop last year by a different tuner. I made 530 whp at under 30 psi with a fp red on pump gas. So after that I spent another 10k in mods and labor as suggested by the shop ct owner to get me well over 600whp. And look where im at now, only 580 whp with a 6235 turbo kit, fully ported done up head, double pumper, larger injectors, etc, and running 6-7 more pounds of boost than when i was on the fp red turbo. At the end of the dyno session I was made at both the shopct owner and tuner.

When tuners say don't do it it's not good blah blah blah they just don't understand how to do it..And no I had the ac on yesterday..I would never go back to the stock maf it's a piece of crap and tend to heat soak in the summer that's why stm offers a maf heat shield now.My car is night and day with s.d.

I'll see them around. The B.B.B. will be hearing about theshopct. The shop owner said to me today the insurance is suppose to handle it. not him, like hes not responsible, like he wasn't in the accident driving the car. He never bothered to follow the car, attempt to get the plate number, or even call the police what a piece of ****. I bet if he got hit in his gtr and someone tried to flee the scene in their car he would of followed the car, and got their plate number and or call the police.

Thats a b.s. excuse just means he doesn't know how to set up SD on the stock ecu. Alot of shops are like that. Some of them dont even want to tune the stock ecu anymore they make people buy UTEC(*cough*) or Ecutek (itleast in VA/MD). Douch bags. Good luck man thats why I learned how to tune my own car lol (Took about a year of constant reading and an EFI Class). But you seem to have a good understanding take some logs and post on the ecuflash forum dude.

Wow just saw you the other night at the shop and you were PRAISING the shop and the tuner! I was there with my 1G and we were chatting and you said you made like 600+ on pump gas and were praising the setup and the tune.. actually you had me jealous man . You were getting work done and they were swapping your hotside from a .63 to a .82 if I remember correctly, and you said they werent charging you for that swap.

Sounds like the bumper situation is clouding your judgement man. Put it back to the other hotside and you should be smiling again Trust me I have been to all the shops around the area, and The Shop in CT is by far the best run performance shop around. Going to other shops you are gonna find that out the hard way. Jimmy is a real reasonable guy and Im surprised that this couldnt be worked out off the internet...

Nah, I wasnt praising them. I said my car was making like 600 on the street. I was happy that it made just over 600 on the dyno but that was it. The tune on the .63 hot side was laggier than should be for my setup. I could not rev my car past 8000 rpms because of back pressure according to the tuner. I told him to turn down the power so i could rev it out, never did it for me. He tuned it how he wanted to tune it. The bumper situation is not clouding my judgement it is what it is. Their are better shops around. The theshopct owner and the shop ct have done me wrong so many times, you would be sick if i told you everything. Everytime I would go to the shop, I would be talking to someone new and they would have bad things to say about the shop owner, or his father is always rude to people, or a pain in the ***. Same on the street if i would meet someone, that been to the shop in the past. I swear to God it's the honest truth.
