Always more detail that gets left out.

If I am not mistaken he was advised this week when he called the shop to get a Tactrix cable so we could make him 2 seperate tunes for 93/100 for ultimate safety and accuracy.

He has run the road course a few times with this tune and there was nothing dangerous going on, his rods are still in the block and these minor tweaks get done for any customer we have that needs adjustment, FREE.

Not shame on him he mixes the gas sometimes which can be non optimum. He is a good guy and I will speak to him this week I am sure.

MY post was started about the VRD vs. DJ dyno and nothing else. As you can tell from my previous post, I had no idea what timing should like @ peak power nor if 2-3 knock was normal, that until you guys started pointing it out. I won’t turn the thread into a pissing match, but I was under the impression that my “finalized" tune was for 93 pump gas.

At any rate, thanks to everyone for your valuable input, tscompusa for the quick tweaks and Sean for his service.

Correct, that was on Sunoco 93 pump. As for the 9* timing, I don’t have any tuning experience. What should the timing be at peak toque?

What’s wrong with the 3” IC? It can’t heat soak, outside temp was in the 30’s

I did 2 more back to back logs with lower boost (24 peak, tapering to 22) and it still knocked in the first run, but the knock was gone in the second run!!
