Mikey's FP Black - 748WHP
As it has been noted DJ numbers have become the standard in the high performance automotive industry, but it has not always been that way. I think now it is more of a combination of a "pretty" dyno sheet to go along with some great track times. Dont get me wrong, high numbers on the dyno is good, but it only tells half the story of how well the car is built. with that said, I'm very excited to see how Mikey's car is going to perform on the track.

Can you tell us what a car that makes 750whp should run then? Like everyone says, take into account all things you DONT have control over. IE weather, track conditions, driver capability in some cases, ect. I guess i dont understand what point your trying to make anyway.

I'm asking because the Mustang numbers are MUCH lower to run those kind of numbers. That's what's kind of irritating about this whole "my car made this much power on the dyno" statements followed by self-pronouncements of being the "world record holder."
Daniel Buscher's red Evo makes LESS than 700hp on their Mustang dyno. I believe last time I was there talking with him about it it was somewhere in the range of 640hp. His car is a mid 9sec car, with timeslips and video to back it up. BTW, its a full weight, street car as well. Additionally, lots of cars out of that shop at that power range running similar numbers - low, low 10s-mid 9s at FAR LESS horsepower than proclaiming here.
Yet, we have a post on here claiming a car with a smaller turbo, (MUCH) slower timeslips (10.4 @13x), etc... is making over 100hp MORE than what it takes for Dan's car to run mid 9s? In fact, the OP is hoping to run the same numbers as Dan's car with over 100hp more.
This happens everywhere, though. I have two other turbocharged cars and I drag race quite a bit in the summers. At this point most of us who see these kinds of numbers posted up simply say, "Whatever. Show me a time slip then you can be crowned king."
The only reason people are responding is because the OP has claimed to have the "FP Black World Record." Those types of claims tend to strike people funny.
Maybe the proclamation ought to be the "FP Black World Record Holder On A Lower Reading Dyno Which I Happen To believe Is The Industry Standard, But Would Be Much Lower On A Mustang Dyno Which Others Believe To Be The Industry Standard, Too"
)Maybe we should ask Dan to proclaim himself the "World Record Holder Of Boot Stomping Similarly Powered Dynojet Evos At The Race Track"?

I am assuming you're once again talking DJ numbers. Am I correct?

You are lucky I'm on my Droid driving... you make me laugh because of your stupidity. My car is around 650-660 on a MD. As you can see I'm about the same as Dan with a MUCH smaller turbo, like you stated... Hopefully you get set straight by someone else. I'm driving my 300whp evo right now responding on my Droid, I have to go race a moped now...

Like I said, you can crown yourself all you want with those dynojet happy numbers, just don't expect everyone to bow down
This reminds me of a local guy in our area who said his car was "all that." '03 Cobra put down 800rwhp on a local Dynojet. We could never understand how a 800hp Cobra could only go mid-high 10s at 135mph... hmmmmm. But, the track doesn't lie. Period.
Went to an open house at another local shop and entered the horsepower contest one Saturday. Problem was their shop had a Mustang dyno. Boy was that guy pissed when his car made about 675rwhp that day

You are a waste. I don't understand what you are trying to prove here. So I assume if you don't believe my record you are calling the previous record holder, Mike @ AWD w/ 719whp DJ not a record hold either? Well you can believe what you want, doesn't mean you are right.

numbers, numbers, numbers everyone love to cry about that, but how many real 600+ hp are out there, not much I've been around and you can count the evo's that are high horsepower.
This is going to be the last post about dyno numbers/track times in my thread, until I take it to the track again.
First off I'm not going to talk about a vender's car... But I will say my car at 640whp on street tires (225s) full weight and not launching the car it did 10.4 @136. I have no doubt in my mind my car is a 9s car and will trap mid 140s.
I understand what you are saying, this is not my first day on the forums. The time will come when it is on the track, want to see it, come to the shootout...
Now back on topic.

I hope to be there. I have a lot of work to do to get the car ready. I need: Slicks, roll cage, t-case, TRE Tranny w/ 4.11 gears to help my LR2.4 trap under 9k, coilovers (putting on next week), and some practice.
I am BB my black next month, putting on a 3.5" exhaust, and a toxic fab manifold, and a heavier wg spring and retune with ECU base boost. I would like to get a few more horses out of the car between now and then. I just have a lot of work and only 6 months to get everything done. If the car is not ready, I won' run it... But I'll still come.
