How old are they?

I know that a couple of years ago Supertech has some springs that were having this issue. I have had it on cars in the past.

They are fine now, but it is something to look into. You curve looks just like valve float.

Results from the addition of our Rev3 intake manifold and 70mm throttle body. I'm not too excited about the peak gains, but two large areas have improved substantially (37whp and 32 ft/lbs just over 6k). It still seems to be choking up top though.

I'm a little more excited about the addition of our MAP short runner tubular manifold It saw peak gains of 26whp and 14ft/lbs with even larger gains of 43whp and 34ft/lbs at 6500 rpms! It's also pertinent to note that these gains were realized with one less pound of boost, we tried to match it up but the clutch is starting to hate life at these power levels

Chris, I love how you guys are testing all the parts in one car back to back...thanks a lot.

Also, OP if you can edit the first post to include all the dynosheets one after the other...im sure everyone would love to see that lol

What wastegate are you running in this, FP 25psi one?

So did you ever try cranking the boost up? Just curious if it was still stopping around 30psi? Wondering if the wastegate is still a culprit at all.

30psi is where we stopped before we tried swapping out parts. So therefore we wanted all the results to be done on the same boost/tune and left it there.

Nice work guys! Great improvements, I'm surprised to see the short runner manifold perform so well!

I'm still suspect about the float. Does the customer have any interest in swapping those supertech's out? I don't think I've seen you comment on that possibility yet, or I missed it.

I got this message from supertech

There are several choices of springs that we have available. Single, several Duals and Beehive spring. For spring pressure selection you have to take in consideration the boost pressure acting against the valve spring and the rpms you are going to ran and if it is going to be a race only or street car. A Single spring is Ok up to 25-30lbs of boost. Above that you will need a Dual stiffer spring. You can convert the single into a dual spring by adding an inner spring and a new spring seat locator. Prices are as follows:

- Inner spring: $ 3.00 each

- Seat locator: $ 2.75 each
So unless there warn out I should be fine running 29lbs of boost
