Pull the line from the wg, see if its the gate or the boost controller.

Just be sure to keep an eye on your boost during the pull.

Dood just drive and enjoy your car , im sure its a whole new animal right now.
I would think the next simple thing to check is the wastegate to make sure its not leaking or the actuator isnt wound tightly enough , if thats not it.
Slowly acquire all the parts you want over the next few months and then come back and retune see where it gets you ,
Good luck

Guessing from the power curve your cam gears might not be set correctly for the 2.4, irrc you need 7 degrees retarded on both gears for cams to be zero'd with the 2.0 head. Best double check that though.

i have to agree with you on that me and the op have almost the same setup and he is barely over 500. to me thats unacceptible. Also i got 35psi on my forge with a soft spring why cant the op see that. Granted that was my major restriction point but i never knew it had a soft spring as i bought it 2 years ago and never used it until the build. i see his mod list and yes you should port everything you have for sure OP. I dont get why people sit there on there high horse and claim constantly the injen setup does not make power. please im making plenty of power with the pipping and intake and have plenty left on the table. I understand the aurgement about the lower pipping for sure but having injen upper/intake and the maf is not a uber restriction point there are plenty of little things that can be done on this setup for sure but I hope Map will get this all straight because these numbers are not good for all the money the OP has spent

You don't feel that the ported head, ported intake manifold, 65mm throttle body, tubular exhaust manifold, and 5 more psi could get Steve to 584whp? Am I missing something?

Steve has a bulletproof bottom end that will be a great platform to build upon, however, as everyone here knows you can't just slap on an FP Black and start breaking records. There are several restrictions that should be addressed and we would be happy to do just that whenever Steve is ready

hence me saying almost. there are plenty of setups with no ported head, 65mm t/b or manifold making more power. im positive you are aware of that. Im sure you will aid in cleaning up this setup never been the question

I am working closely with Chris to make sure we didn't miss any details. Thank you for your opinions. They have givin me options and are going to double check everything to make sure timing filter and boost controller etc is perfect. I didn't mean to start this thread to Bash anyone or make MAP look bad I have no doubt in there tuning capabilities IE: 1053 HP evo. I'm still learning about a lot of this, Chris has taken care of me since I had my blown up motor even though I live 6 hours away. I want to thank everyone for your opinions. I like 500HP I'm only looking for guidance on which would be the most important thing to change first or issues I need to address that would be most productive.

I made the same power on 18psi pump gas... 30psi should have you around 575whp.

Mikey.
