Absolutely amazing!! I can't imagine what that thing would be like at 40+lbs. I'm sure it would spin in 3rd like it's doing in 2nd gear haha! My jaw dropped on the 2nd pull you did, the amount of wheel spin it had in 2nd gear just amazes me! Nicely done Dave! You did an amazing job videoing that while trying to handle that animal.

 

ya another 70wtq+ or so.. it would definitely kill traction in 3rd.. with this car and traction tho i bet it will see a high 8 second pass.

 

Ya, if he can get it to hook up I know my stroker it is a tough task to get the damn thing to hook at the track, even with Hoosier QTP slicks. I can only imagine dave's evo.
I'm just still in shock over that 2nd pull he did in that video haha. I've watched it like 3 times now lmao. I thought mine had tractions issues on the street, mine spins in 1st and 2nd, 1st will smack the rev limiter pretty hard, 2nd just spins half way through but doesn't hit the rev limiter like Dave's does. Mine is crazy on the street, I can't imagine what Dave's feels like. I'm jealous! haha

 

I'll be honest, I am in no hurry to drag race the car. I still want that 8 second pass but it's taking a real back seat to just enjoying it.

It's hard to tell in the video but if you watch me steering the car in 3rd gear it's still spinning the tires, I can feel it and you can tell by the adjustments I'm making to keep the car straight.

This is one SICK combination. I wish I had a boost gauge in the car so you guys could see I'm telling the truth about the boost!

I'm going to buy some new tires, these just aren't going to work. I need something to autocross on so I'm thinking I'll use some NT01's or R888's, a drag radial is out of the question as they don't make a proper sized 17" tire.

I'm going to work on the camera mount today and see if I can figure out a better way to hold it in place. If I can I'll post another video.

No ticket, I avoided being stopped, let's say it that way. The car is FAST, turns and stops......all of which came in handy

Getting pulled over for stupid crap like no front plate and window tint is pretty ridiculous. I'll never forgot when I got pulled over for one of my headlights being out. I was actually on my way to buy a new bulb, and the cop acted like he was doing me a favor, writing me "just a warning".
