I don't have experience with them but was thinking of switching to them from my nt05s. There is a big thread about them in the suspension section. 140 tread wear and are pretty cheap.

dave how do you feel about drag racing on thease tires ? i kno you are preparing for another event right now but you plan to run the car in the maxx effort class at the shootout ? alot of the tires are very stiff sidewall road tires how do they hold up to launching at your power level .

 

ive never had as much fun in my car as i do now that it makes over 700..

The tires on the car now I'm not real pleased as far as traction goes but with the power the car is making it's tough to judge. I am preparing for an event right now. I have three events planned this year, Winged Warrior next weekend which is car show/autocross/drag race and then the week after we have the BR Sport Compact Race, that is also autocross/drag race and then in August for the Shootout again, autocross/drag race. So all my events are multi-skilled events. I will switch tires I am sure, at this point it's too late and I'm going to try and run on these.

 

too bad there isnt a 4 wheel burnout competition.

I just received my Hankook RS3's. I'll see how they handle stupid amounts of power next month.

 

Pardon me. It seems like your car now makes too much power to have fun any where but a straight line. Which I'm sure is amazing and a total riot.
We'll see though after the first autocross how it is. I think you should definetly road course it to see how it does.

 

they are suppose to be stickier than star specs.
