Bad Bish and a few quick dyno pulls with new stroker-amazing
Man, road racing this would just be scarey. I hit about 130 mph on the back straight of Mid Ohio in the '06 Eclipse we've got with 245 flywheel HP. This thing would have to be 180 or something completely retarded! I'm not at all interested in seeing china beach (part of the track at Mid Ohio) coming at me at those types of speeds. Besides, I'd hate to ever wreck it.
While an Evo with this power would be cool to see on a road course, it would need stupid aero and tires to have any chance of running all out. Most of the unlimited/shop class cars aren't running close to this sort of power/torque. Also with no roll cage, harnesses etc... yeah no thanks lol. At "only" 400+ whp my Evo is scary fast on a road course, enough to prompt me to cage it asap.
I've got 245-45-17's on it now, I need a tall tire to help keep the RPM down. I was considering the Star Specs but not sure it's going to be much of a difference from what I have. NT01's are on the list too.
I will have my camera in the car when I autocross it, probably just my iphone, it's too easy to use and edit.

285's won't fit without some fender mods and that's not happening. I just sold my 18's to drop the weight back down. The Hoosiers A6's are appealing for a track tire but I want something I can drive on too.
As for the road course, I have one style, ***** OUT! Haha, I'm not driving the car half to the floor and shifting at 6,000 rpm, I'm better of driving the Eclipse in that case. I have no desire to track this car anyway, so it's moot.

I watched the Youtube vids last night... I still can't believe how fast it rips through the rpms. Is it banging off the rev limit in each gear as you go through?
Have you looked into the hankook RS-3s? I am running nt05s and it is a decent all around tire. I have no where near the power you have though. what brake setup are you running?
No, never looked at the Hankook RS3, do you have experience with them? I'll look at them today. I'd need a tire before next weekend or it's going to be a drift contest, that I'll lose! haha
Brakes are stock EVO calipers, Hawk pads, Giro rear rotors and Baer fronts, rotors are full sized normal EVO rotors, just lighter than stock stuff. I sold my ultra light weight Giro's last year and run their standard rotor on the back.
