Sounds about right. On an 8? Hey, you're in Fresno, right?

On an 8 with stock cams. And yes I'm in Fresno, actually going to be running SCCA this Sunday. See how she goes.

You're the guy that bought my IX turbo? Shoot me your number. I lost yours so never was able to get ahold of you for our meets, etc. I'll be out as well. Hoping to have my girl driving this time.

Here's my results on CA 91 octane

2003 Evo 8
300hp / 283tq (Mustang Dyno)
Max Psi: 22.1

Mods:
Evo 9 turbo
Tanabe DP
RRE rally cat
HKS carbon Ti exhaust
GM boost solenoid
JDM MR BOV
HKS cams 272's
HKS cam gears
Stock airbox with k&n drop in
AMS LICP
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
RC 750 injectors

My goal is to have at least 350whp on a mustang dyno. Any ideas on what else I can upgrade to achieve my goal?

TIA!

from what you've got so far, e85 will do the trick. but you will need bigger injectors. maybe a bigger IC just to ensure no heat soak.

A more aggressive cam like some S2 cams will definitely help.. hks 272 are on the mild side in comparison to others on the market....

On pump, you will need a larger turbo.

I did 390 on a MAP ef2.5 and similar mods (Evo IX).

As long as you're not seeing knock, you should be okay..But consult your tuner. You must be on e85?

How much timing are you guys running with cams on 91? I installed some S2s and have picked up power, but having to run much less timing from 6k up. I can squeeze out 7deg at 7k sometimes. Was 12deg before cams.
