this was what i wanted to run on my build, but could never get a date for availability, so hence the BB Black.
Homie if I never blew my motor I would've avoided a lot of bs.

And I would def be buying one of these.

Why is this interesting? Is it not normal to run 25psi ?

This is pretty good considering this was done on the stock block and 92-octane. That is an easy 500whp+ turbo on E85.

I do believe that the Driven Innovations intake manifold could be holding you back at those boost levels in the low-to-mid range. I believe one of the OEM-version intake manifolds (i.e. CBRE, MAP, etc.) would work out better.

I tried to find bolt ons that didn't affect spool too much, but I think you are right. I do have a MAP standard rod 2.4 with an AEM water meth kit waiting to be installed and will be increasing boost. Hopefully at greater boost the loss of spool will be offset by higher flow.

David.

Chad has told me in the past that the BBK Full is the turbo you want to run if you're going to be under 30psi. BBK-B is ideal at ranges greater than 30psi.

This puts me in a tough position as I have some poor quality 91-octane and was only able to get 24PSI during tuning. On E85, I was at 30PSI+. I am set up for map switching.

If you aren’t running over 30psi- the BBK full is stronger-
Normal psi range on pump gas would be 24-27 psi-
Much over thatyoull need E85 or race fuel to support it without detonation!

Really, that much power, LOL. Just kidding, I own one and always downplay how much power it really has.

Now I have to get my car on the dyno to see if all this is true. LOL

I've had the BBK-3B for 12,000 miles now. I love it.
Now if I would just get off my butt and get the headwork done to get the BBK-C

Great work as always Chad.

Nick
