The piece that bolts to the back of the exhaust cam inside the sensor housing can get flipped 180* out and do all sorts of crazy things. Sometimes the car wont run, it wont make a pull in boost, or it drops 60whp. It can have proper cam timing and still have this side is not correct.

Wow I did not know that. Do you have a picture of where it is located? I am not sure where it bolts on to.

Yes put the car at TDC, take the triangle plate off the end of the Cam sensor housing and take a look of the reluctor inside...

At TDC it should look like this

Either rock it in 3rd gear till engine gets all lined up or use a 1/2 breaker bar and rotate the crank.

But how do I know when it's at TDC? Do the cams have a mark that need to bet at the 12 o clock position?

Correct, and then there is a mark on the crank pulley as well.

Ok so I adjusted the pulley until TDC. One cam was about a quarter to half an inch different from each other. For example the intake cam was perfectly upright while the exhaust mark was a little bit off to the left. Also see the Reluctor.

Make sure when you rotate the engine over to tdc, you rotate it clockwise and stop directly on the mark, don't rotate past the mark and back it up to the mark, it will put that slack in the belt like you have in the pics and your cams won't line up perfectly.

Is TDC the 0 mark in between the two 12's on the cam gear adjustments? Or is it the line engraved on the top of the cam gear on the Tooth? If it is the one engraved on the tooth I am attaching the pictures.
