I've said it before and I'll say it again the 71hta is the absolute best turbo for a 2.0L motor.

I had a WRX with a big turbo...hated waiting to 4500-5000 RPM for the turbo to wake up. This is perfect match. Almost no lag and big power.

Next step is to see what times I'll get in 1/4 mile track. From what i can tell, high 11s to low 12s. I was doing 13.0 @ 108 mph with V400 that made 305 whp on TT's dynojet. I'll probably do 12.5.

Does your turbo taper to 24 psi at redline too? Or did my tuner set that? He said he lowered the boost in 4th and 5th gears. Guess I'll need to find my gauges or buy new ones to see what my turbo is doing. Lol

I bought the gauges 10 years ago. But since I drove about 5000 miles each year (1000 is from my brother borrowing it), I didn't spend the time. Now that it is much more critical, I will search my stuff to avoid buying them again. Lol

I bought steering column dual pod mounts but i don't like that location. I want to retain the stock appearance to avoid problems with theives and cops. Pilar mount is the worst since it's a cop magnet. LOL

Look into a 02 dump. Makes more power by eliminating back pressure and makes more torque and spools the turbo quicker due to less backpressure

I'd love to have one, but cops love me and will pull me over for stupid things like one license plate light being out. I avoid standing out and giving them any reason to stop me.

Its only loud when you're above wastegate pressure. Cruising around town it's no different that stock/recirculated

My normal driving is off boost so it will always be loud. It's only quiet when I'm on boost, so it will draw attention. I remember by friend's eclipse and it was loud. If I do install, I'd plumb into resonator or a separate muffler. Lol
