congrats. i love seeing other 71hta cars. last year i dyno 405 at 27psi. since then i have added COP setup and dropped my stock o2 housing for a muse o2 dump. I'm curious how much I have gained...

Probably quite a bit with the 02 dump

Okay, today, I was low on fuel. Searched for E85 station and nearest was 28 km away and my low fuel light comes on. Decided to get 91 at nearest gas station. Switched to 91 map and car had rough idle until E85 was cycled out (next time, I'll idle a few minutes on E85 map to flush out E85). Engine stalled after a few lights. I probably should have filled up closer to empty instead of when warning light first came on.

How does O2 dump make more power? I'm thinking it will allow wastegate to open slightly later without overboost, so we can get a little closer to preset boost before WGA opens. But that's probably not much more power. As for the DP, it will only take the exhaust turbine flows so flows won't be consistent. Doesn't that cause more backpressure since it is no longer flowing continuously?

Yeah you have to drain more than that for sure!

No restrictions

How many E85 miles can we drive after light turns on? On 91, we can get 30 more miles right? So E85 can get 20?

This is probably why my tuner cut boost at 23 psi on 91 gas. He didn't want people new to E85 to blow their engines when switching fuel.

Anyway, i drove about 40-50 miles and topped off on 91 to dilute what's left of E85. Car is running fine now. I was worried...

I noticed that E85 fuel makes the engine run smooth. It starts up gently unlike on 91, which roars when started. When I release the gas pedal, car bogs on 91. On E85, the engine bogs like it has no torque. It's so surprising that E85 made 80 more HP!

It eliminates back pressure thus making the turbine wheel work more efficiently

That makes sense. So it will have less pressure around 3800 RPM to redline. Do you know how much power?

Up to 30whp has been achieved when upgrading to a 02 dump

I'm drawing a blank on what and where in the cabin to install a boost gauge and maybe an EGT.

This is on my radar now. Just need to figure out a way to get it to pass smog.
