yes it is. I have a UPS account. So he's going to charge me money to crate it, and I will cover shipping.

1050 for the hood.
750 for the fenders.

w/out crating or shipping.

Wife came around today and is happy

Define..."happy".

My wife is never "happy" when I buy parts for my car.

She got in a fender bender... so it cost me 800 bucks or so to fix. So the 1800 dollars in carbon complaint went to the wayside.

So my motor is out and I'm putting it back together. What's not needed such as heat shells and things like that. Also is the intake manifold support thing needed?

Did you order from robispec? Is he still in business and selling hoods/trunks? Seems impossible to get in contact with him.

I recommend against it. I paid him up front for materials for a CF trunk well over a year ago. However, his supplier bailed on him, and he told me he'd refund my money last summer, but instead he disappeared, and will not return any of my calls or emails. If I lived in CA, I would have taken him to small claims court just for the principal of it, but it's simply not worth the plane ticket and hassle at this point. Dude is a total ***** and coward, but whatever.

Bump for a part request. I thought I saw on Instagram a shop make a billet bracket for the passenger side motor mount to replace the cast iron piece. I can’t seem to find it anymore. I remember the shop being in either Arizona or Nevada. Weight savings was like 5 pounds. Thank you.

If anyone is interested, Marsh Powerhouse Fab (MPH Fab in Ohio) is now making lightweight full carbon trunklid that are also structurally solid. Can run a fairly large wing safely. He’ll make them in any carbon type fabric corps or weave you want also. Weighs around 4-5# for full reinforced lid, but I’m sure he’s also do just a top skin for race car use that would be probably 2-3#
