yep, you dont want cast iron calipers. one of the lightest and cheapest calipers you can use are the ones from the C4 or C5 corvette. I think the pre 1988 were single piston and the newer years were dual pistons. they perform well also since BEAR brakes used them for brake upgrade kits.

You guys are crazy. If you are drag racing, I'd just pull the stock bars off for free and be done with it.
I picked up the Ralliart aluminum front bar for $150 and thought that was almost too much for the cost/benefit ratio. I think it's 3 pounds.
