Does anyone know how much the 4 OEM mounts in the engine bay weigh? I am interested in getting the TS mount kit and was wondering on the weight savings. Thanks.

I recently acquired, a 03 evo 8 the bottom has a bunch of surface rust, the front too,im going to cut the front,like another member did,lets see if I can get her to 2000lbs.with a/c

VIS brand is around 14lbs, I think. Authentic Do Luck, I'm fairly positive was a bit lighter than that but I would really like to find out the exact #.

 

Yeah, i found the VIS weight in the OP, though, years later it could have changed. For all out weight savings, you gotta go with the one Robi sells

 

I agree, Robi's are real light. I was emailing him back & forth about his hood & trunks a bit last year. The thing that sucks, is the shipping price on his website wasn't/isn't correct. He doesn't ship these in just padded card board boxes. His shipping department fully crates these, so there is pretty much no chance of it getting damaged. Shipping on a Robi trunk from Cali is $300+.

 

So Robi is still selling them? It'd probably be cheaper for me to just drive down from San Francisco and pick them up.

 

Middle of last year he still was. Easiest way for me to get in contact with him was via email.
