I'd guess about 3021 w/o driver (aka dry).
Winter 2012 pre-diet stats:

3182 track weight.
That's with me on the scales and includes a 60lb rollbar. So it's close to 3000 dry. Minus me and the rollbar - estimated 2940 lbs.

Now onto the winter 2012 diet. Here's a pic of misc dash parts, a-pillar plastic, etc (not the dash itself) mostly plastic but a few brackets - 12lbs. Note this does not include any screws or bolts! Some of this will go back in:

More gutting in progress. I'm thinking about taking out the window glass while at the track and putting it back in during transport (open trailer). Anyone have a writeup for that, please lemme know!
Stay tuned for updates and more weights...

A list of items specifically removed and NOT going back in. I'll try to get a specific weight on this stuff:
  • Both tweeters in the a-pillars
  • Driver's door speaker (passenger yet to come)
  • Passenger side airbag module (airbag had already deployed waaaay back)
  • Cutting more sound deadening underneath the dash, next to the firewall/windshield base.

Here's some misc weights:
  • 15lbs - Stock plastic dash - Just the plastic; everything removed that I could
  • 5lbs - driver's side doorskin; just the plastic 'skin'
  • 5lbs - Passenger side airbag module (w/o airbag)

Nathan, it looks like your on your way to race car mode!

Is this for TTS or ST2? I'm making a move to Milwaukee and will most likely try and run NASA midwest events this year.

Possibly either or both.

I pulled the dash out of the car thinking I might be caging it. But regardless, I want to pull as much weight as I can off the front of the car. Like 63% weight up front...

Did you get a chance to weigh the door speakers yet . I went to pull the tweeters out they didnt weigh anything. So before i take the door skin off I would like to know how much the speakers weigh.

I would also like to get more weight out of the front. My rear end is light as it is and rotates nicely.

I want to get under 2800 for my car with full int.

its alot compared to a single disc setup i think my exedy tripple was 28lbsif u get the carbon carbon its lighter because the flywheel is drilled out but the comp twins and Qm twins are alot lighter they are pretty harsh to drive and make a ton of noise tho.

Like jerdeitzel noted; there's not a lot of weight in the 4 speakers up front (2 tweeters in a-pillar). The doorskin pops off easy enough to yank out the speaker and you can pop the door skin back on.

If you go to work cutting out the thick sound deadening under and around the dash, you'll find more weight than with the speakers. I doubt you wanna cut/gut the door but that's where most people are finding the door weight savings, including the drilling the welds for the side crash beams.
