Lol, I have no idea. I also cut the brackets that go down lower towards the floor and for the harness. I used zip-ties to re-attach harness like AMS did.

Mine is back in the car and interior is 100% back together. Dash is very sturdy (only bolts that hold it on are the 10mm's on the side of dash to dash bar, and the 4 10mm's behind radio). I also removed the 3 brackets that are under center console (one near e-brake, srs ecu bracket, and bracket that is above shifter cables/near heater box). All three of those were probably 2lbs.. forgot to weigh though.

Once you go through the wiring and remove all the unused connectors, there are very few wires left in those jumpers. That is exactly what they are by the way. they are common points for power, grounds, lights, etc.

If anybody has it, the weight of the stock harness would be awesome. I've cut 8 pounds out of mine the last time I weighed it. But it was already cut down from stock at that point so I have no baseline reference.

I'm currently redoing the entire harness with TEFZEL wire. It's going to knock a decent amount of weight out of it, but I worked on it all day yesterday and I'm like 5% done. It's going to take for ever.

It will hurt handling.

The EVO is an excellent handling car, losing that seems like a waste.

I put my harness back in. I'm not gonna mess with it. To much i feel I can screw up.

Do you want the weight of the engine or dash harness. I put my harness back in but I have a 2005 rs engine harness I bought that I can weigh

Since I put my d2 coilovers on it already feels horrible compared to my stock shocks with tein springs haha I guess my next step will be to get this sound deadening out but I gotta get it back from the shop first. Does anybody know how much if any the br fabricated intake manifold saves over stock?

How's fitment on the fiber image hood? 5lbs+ lighter sounds good to me! What's the stocker again, like 21lbs?

I'm about to bolt it up. Stock I thought was around 20. And its always heen said seibon was heavier then stock. Fiber image claims 10 lbs for this hood. It's 14.2

Now i need to find 5 more lbs to make up for it. Ha
