Alpine IVA-D310 Install
Here's a pic of the head unit installed. I was asking you guys because I wanted to see how you handled the radio trim. The radio was sticking out about 1.5", but I managed to change it a little. I also had to glue radio trim directly on to the center console piece.
Thanks,
Thanks,
When I install indashes with brains, if it is big, then I put it underneath the passenger seat. If it is small, and its not worth the trouble to run wires that far, then simply hide it underneath your dash using zip ties...
I installed my 310 just like the one above with it sticking out how it does without modification although it would be nice to have it a little deeper but I didn't want to have clearance issues with the display coming out. I installed the a/v unit under the passenger seat and the nav unit in the trunk.

screens are designed to stick out a little. Its something that you get used to when seeing them like that all the time, but coming from a factory stereo i can see why you wanted to change it. Looks good either way.

I have the IVA-D300 and was wondering if you guys thought the angle of the screen faced the passenger more than the driver - if that makes sense... I used washers to try to angle it more towards the driver side but its still off a little. any one else have this problem.
