Need help wiring Aeromotive 16302 Pump controller
hi guys I have a small question regarding the installation of this part...the instruction reads:
Locate a 12VDC positive tach signal, this is usually found ont he "=" terminal of the ignition coil. If you are using any kind of aftermarket ignition control you must use the tach signal terminal on the controller. Some newer vehicles will require a tach adapter available through your local speed shop. Using the enclosed #16 yellow wire, route the wire from the tach signal source to the PSC "PNT" terminal
ok now i know that pin 58 on the ecu is the tach output...same wire i used to feed my shift light....the only question is....is it a positive, negative, or just a data signal? Would I be able to use pin 58 for my application? or must I go to the ignition coil? and if so which wire is it?
