Not really sure and haven't seen any posts on here about that. I'm guessing somewhere around 1 cu. ft. Maybe a tiny bit more.

What's your overall plan? What sub are you going with? Adding an amp to power it? Tell us more and we'll all be able to help you a little more.

looking at doing a 10w3v3 and a 250/1. Either that or a 250/1 and a 10w1v2

Im going to have to say that the 10w3v3 is going to work it calls for .65 sealed and there is no way that box is any smaller than that. Infinitys entry level sub calls for .75 sealed so im going to guess its around there as far as air space I know its not the exact same sub but its got to be close!

Good choice on sub/amp combo. You'll really like the 10W3 and 250/1.

I do have to say, that you're better off staying away from the SSL enclosure. If you're going to buy nice equipment, do it justice and get a good box. Either have one made by a local shop, or look up MConsoliA4 on this forum. He makes a fiberglass box that fits in the driver side rear corner (fits like a glove). It would be better for you than the SSL box IMHO. PM him and see what it will cost. And, do some searching to read the reviews about it so you'll know a little more about it. Good luck.

What would be such the downfall to the ssl enclosure?? reason i ask if its in the air space limits it should work just fine. Theres no way its going to rattle apart?

The small audiophile Infinity sub is fine in the SSL enclosure. However, a powerful JL 10W3 will be too much for the SSL enclosure. I would recommend a 3/4 MDF box or a custom made fiberglass one. The sub will only be as good as its weakest link. Don't skimp on the box if you are going with such good components.

The SSL enclosure will flex considerably with a 10W3 and 250/1 pushing it. Sure, it will produce bass. But it will be muddy sounding, not accurate and will just boom. Would sound pretty crappy IMHO.

Like the guy above said, a good MDF enclosure built to JL's specs would be great. A nice custom fiberglass enclosure would be even better since it would weigh very little.

The speakers are actually 6.5's, but you need a 6.75" adapter.

There was also a SSL package that added a powered sub.

Sub - 8"
Mounting Depth - 4.25"

The SSL box is not deep enough to mount the 10w3, nor is it wide enough.
