EVO MR interior
Im not trying to be an ******* or anything... But u dont buy a race car for the interior.. You buy an EVO for its drivetain, engine, etc.... Its a powerhouse that handles amazingly, not some beemer sitting on 22's. I think people in general like to say something negative about their car.. Its like a psychology behind it. Cause owning an evo is like living in a fantasy world... At times its too good to be true. Thus, you must keep yourself in check by stating a whole bunch of negatives which are minuscule in size. The paint is blah, interior is trash, wtf is wrong with my clutch, etc.... Im not shooting you guys down, I agree with some of the stuff your saying. But an evo is the most bang for a buck your going to get.

If ya don't like the interior, check out what some of the other owners have done. As far as I've seen the options are LCD with DVD, DIN Mounts, better sound systems. The GT-A interior is pretty nice, but not sure if it would fit. Same chassis, so it may fit. You can do custom paint to match the exterior, and you can change the gauges out. Remember it's all about the size of your wallet for custom stuff!
This is the forum for interior changes: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=203519
Good luck man. Let's see some pics when you start pulling out the race car interior. =)

I'm going to go with the pioneer AVIC-D3. I'll post some pictures when i get it put it. Next step is to figure out where i'm going to move those little gauges if i'm gonna use the orbital conversion kit. thanks for your feedback

I just saw a product brochure of my evo which I got when I purchased it new back in '06, I did not realize that they have listed the leather seats as one of the accessory in their brochure. It means you can actually have a leather interior in a MR
This is why I own the sport-luxury and the sports car. You're not paying for class with an EVO, you're paying for proven performance. With an Audi, BMW or Lexus you won't get the performance unless you look towards the $50k - $60k range.
Why is everyone saying that there evo's are flippin race cars... race cars dont come from factory's and if they did they sure as hell wouldnt have a catalytic converter!!!
The evo interior is weak, and if someone feels the need to change it then they should, asking for constructive criticism is not a bad thing.
If someone asks in the "Evo Audio and Security" section telling them to buy another car sounds pretty stupid... I think he is well aware that he spent 35k on a car and knew damn well what the interior had to offer.
Slik, I sent you some pics of nice setups...good luck and don't sweat the ****in ricers...

When Mitsubishi designed a 35k vehicle, they seemed to concentrate on everything accept the 'little things' like the dash. Most $35k cars have an interior that feels like money well spent, but the EVO seems to lack in this area. I feel like I'm looking at the dash of a Kia. Does anyone know of any manufacturers that produce interior upgrades to add that special "yes" to the dash. I already know of the double din mod, but what else, if anything at all is out there?
Wow kid you've been listening to the Subaru fanboys too much. I don't know what you were thinking buying an evo for a nice interior buy please sell it to someone who appreciates it before you wad it up trying to race ricers in your area.

The Evo is awesome for what it is...
