Tweeter wiring confuses me.
I'm in the process of installing an aftermarket head unit and there are 4 wires for the tweeters, but my head unit's harness only has connections for the 2 front and 2 rear speakers.
How would I go about connecting the two front tweeters that are mounted to the a-pillar?

I'm just throwing this out there since no one replied. First off I already installed a Alpine X001 in my car and the wiring harness (not head unit, but harness between HU and vehicle) only had enough wires for 4 speakers (8 total wires). I never took the a-pillar apart, but it's possible there are stock wires running from the mids in the doors to the tweets in the a-pillar. My guess is they piggyback wires from the mids to the tweeters. I would probably avoid those extra wires unless you plan on doing something wild like components with separate crossovers.
Nevermind, I see you have an SSL system. Not sure about that. If you have all the adapters, then it should just be plug and play and you shouldn't have to do anything special to hook up the tweeters.

No adapters, I'm not using the amp. The tweeters are wired as thier own speakers but for now I spliced them into each respective front speaker but I can't try it out until I get my small battery in so we'll see.

The confusion is the reason I just disconnected them.
I'm guessing they are already filtered but at the same time I think they are filtered at the amp, not at the tweeter.
I think I removed something that might appear to be a filter from the amp side of the wiring but I did because I thought it was aftermarket from the previous owners radio/sub installation.

It's possible that it's filtered at the amp, but it would probably be internal if it was. What did whatever you removed look like? How was it wired in?
I, however, doubt that it's filtered at the amp cuz non SSL evos have tweeters (mine does anyway) with no amp and they're filtered. Take a multimeter (ohm setting) and measure resistance across the tweeter wiring. If the resistance holds steady it doesn't have a filter, if it slowly changes, more than likely increases, then it does have a filter.

Oh I didn't mean IN the amp but at the amp location.
It was a little box and to be honest I didn't know which wires were which when I disconnected it so I don't really remember how it was connected.
