I finally took the day to check out that whining sound thing and found out that its coming from the tweeter on the passanger side. i unplugged it and the whining completely stop. So does this mean i have to replace the tweeter?

take the tweeter from the drivers side, hook it up to your messed up passanger side, and if it doesnt whine, then yes, new tweeter. If it does, then its something with wiring. But im betting its just a messed up tweet.

Yea, its either a faulty tweeter or a bad ground. But if its just that side its the tweeter.

AAAAHHHH!!! Now the passanger door speaker is making the whining noise. So i guess it isnt the tweeter. I guess im going to have to look for the ground wire. Oh i forgot to mention, when i bought my evo it was used and already had the sound system in. So i wouldnt know where the ground wire would be.

+1

This is likely your problem as you may be getting interference from your power wires into your signal wires. Items with a high current draw will induce a current (interference) about them. Do the above and let us know if it worked.
