hi guys, I've been looking for info on the neutral safty switch in the evo 8 but cant find anything.My car will start without touching the clutch,and i just got a mail order tune from dyno flash and was wondering if this is what the launch control runs off of?any info on this would help me out alot

 

The neutral safety switch is under the dash by the clutch pedal. Just get under there and see the plug that is disconnected and plug it back in.

 

thanks man, i found it. i guess when the remote start was done they must have unplugged it and tucked the harness

 

theres a way to "turn off" the switch while remote start is activated but then turn it back on when you need it. like using launch control or starting the car manually.

you use a relay that gets activated by the alarm during remote start to activate the neutral switch.
