Ignition problem

Im having a problem where when i turn on my ignition the cel starts flickering and it wont let me start the car and sometimes fuel starts pumping into the motor even when not cranking.

I noticed that when i turn the key on the car is supposed make mutliple clicks from some relay im guessing in the engine bay. Whenever i do not hear that clicking, the cel lighg doesnt appear or starts flickering and the car wont start. it cranks but no start. I was thinking maybe a relay is getting stuck or something.I have to keep turning my key on and off until the cel stays solid and then it starts.

Im so stumped on this and idk what it is. I was driving the other day and the car just died while i was on the highway because of this. But most of thr time it only affects the startup.

Well i have a jdm evo 5 motor in there so i have codes for thr crank and cam sensor. Would thr crank sensor possibly cause the cel not to appear. I ordered a new one today online and im going to see if that helps.

Your complaint sounds more like the cam sensor is bad.

But what could cause the ecu to randomly disconnect from the car or to start making the lignt flicker and the rpm needle to bounce.

Yea it was the crank sensor. I changed that and never had the problem again. But it may have been because i have a evo 5 motor in my 8 and the sensors are different.
