Which fuse for add a fuse kit (radar install) radio fuse missing?

Hello! So I'm hardwiring my radar Escort 8500 with their hardware kit. Was going to use an add a fuse kit. It was recommended that I use the radio fuse but when I went to the fuse box I noticed my radio fuse isn't there? Everything works fine so. O biggie but wanted to know which fuse I could use. Thanks!!

How is the fuse for your radio not there? Do you have an aftermarket radio? If so, have you ever pulled it out to see where the power is tapped into?

Personally I wouldnt bother with an add a fuse. I would use the switched 12v from your radio and tap into that. The wire is red. Then bolt your ground right behind the radio on the dash bar where some other grounds are bolted and you should be good to go.

mine didn't either, might be some sort of optional thing.

you can use the secondary radio fuse under the dash too

Reviving this to post my answer. Had same issue as OP after a battery change. Dead AC,Central locking, head unit, power outlets.
Audio amp and radio fuses were blown, had random engine lights before the cutout as well.
Auto electrician found a blown fusible link and faulty alternator which was the root cause. ECU doesn't like flakey voltage.
