Stereo, clock, power door locks randomly going out
Stereo, clock, power door locks randomly going out
Hey guys,
I'm pretty new here, so I apologize if I sound like a newb. For the past few weeks I've been driving my car, and about 10 minutes into driving my stereo will completely lose power, as well as my clock. Then when the car is off and the key is out, the power door locks lose power, so putting the key back in the ignition allows me to lock them. My battery is brand new, but has some pink fluid coming out of the terminal. Stereo has been in the car at least a year working fine. Car is bone stock (2006 evo IX se), 50,000 miles. The car is completely driveable and has no problem starting, but my stereo and clock going out, and power lock issues are becoming frustrating. Does anyone have any idea what this problem could be? I reattached the battery wires and checked all fuses. Also, I haven't gotten a red battery light readout on my dash.
