Would anyone be able to inform me where the correct sensor is and whether a normal kph to mph adapter would work? As the GTA version of the Lancer Evo 7 has the auto gearbox I understand that with the Auto version instead of using a speed sensor it uses an input/output shaft speed which sends the signal to the speedo however there must be a signal I can change somewhere in between? Have tried to look online but its proving difficult as its the Auto model which differs from the manual. Disconnected a sensor with was located under the thermostat housing however I believe this was the gearbox sensor (drove the car while it was disconnected but speedo still worked). Found an image below however from this diagram however not sure if this shows the input/output shaft sensor I need.....any assistance is appreciated.
