Rockford radio help

Ok so I have a 2014 with the Rockford non nav radio. The sound was cutting out off and on for a few weeks and now I have nothing. I’ve checked the fuses already. I even took apart the amp to see if anything was fried on the board and still nothing. I even tried running the ext. device connection on the dealer screen and said amp was ok. After all that I realized that I couldn’t get a response on the screen if I adjusted the sound or the bass or the fader. Has anyone else had the issue is it a bad radio, amp or a wiring issue. I have a hour ride to work every day and can’t take the silence.

If the amps ok then that just leaves the deck. Guess its time to upgrade to something aftermarket. If you want to verify its the deck though you can get an integration/install kit for an aftermarket deck and try feeding in a signal to the amp to make sure your getting audio out of the speakers. If you don't want to DIY it you could just take it to a stereo shop and let them figure out what you need to get your tunes back.

Ok so I changed the deck out and got the same result. Is there anything that would override my sound control. Now I’m assuming it has to be a short somewhere

After messing around a little more I unplugged the smaller bundle of wire from the head. It finally let me make adjustments on my screen. Of coarse still no sound because amp is in that bundle to. So maybe it’s the hand free stuff. Could I cut the wires for it. And if I can which ones do I cut
