Relocated battery. Oops.. fuel level sensor not working
I just relocated by battery to the trunk and as I was re tightening all my connections I accidentally grounded the positive through my wrench to the body. Little spark no big deal, I thought.
I then proceeded to start the car and the fuel level is reading empty and the light is on.( it has a half tank)
is it possible the voltage back feed to the level sensors ground and burnt up the sensor? I will look into it more when I get some time but was just wondering if anyone had any input. Thanks.
