How did you lose 300lb of the Evo.

Ti Exhaust with DP : -40lb
Small battery : -20lb
CF hood : -10lb
CF trunk : -10lb
Light weight brake rotors : -40lb
Light weight wheels : -40lb
Strip interior : -60lb

This is what I estimate. It might be less though.

WORKS will be offering an A/C eliminator belt as part of our WRP. Look for it in the very near future

What length belt would you want to remove the AC and have a crank pulley? Does it make sense to just add both lengths shortened together to come up with a total?

How about the complete HVAC system, including the actual HVAC inside the vehicle? I work for a HVAC supplier to one of the big 3 and i know that an HVAC can weight anywhere between 10-20lbs. while all the under hood components range anywhere from 15-20lbs.

That fits when you have a crank pulley and skip the AC?

Ok I am removing my AC as I type and it's a mess ... I am taking the turbo kit off because my DP is touching my Koyo radiator and some welding and fabrication is needed. I will post some pics later on tonight but so far I have coolant all over my garage and things don’t look nice ...

stay tuned

Relax

No worries. Just zip tie them out of harm's way. Won't set off any idiot lights.

The first plug with green insert is the A/C Clutch connector switch which when you hit the button in the car it sends a signal to the compressor to turn on. The second connection with the brown plug is the High/Low Pressure Switch. Which basically regulats how much coolant passes to the compressor which regulates how cold the air is when it enters the car.

You shouldnt have any problems with the check engine light coming on. I know for a fact that the green plug wont cause any problems. The High Low switch shouldnt cause a light either but i have the ohm settings so if it does you can install a resistor in the plug to fake the ecu into thinking everything is ok.

Old thread but I dugg it up on a search. Hard to find what belt you need exactly... the # dynoflash posted doesnt work. MN158795 comes up and I'm assuming it's the RS belt. I think there are 2 RS belts... one that would be too big and the other that might fit. Thread on this here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=290235

I'm just trying to get the darn belt ordered... one that fits lol. 03 EVO8 a/c removed.
