I don't think so, the ATP's hot side is the bottle neck. I think u need at least 470 WHP (DD dyno) to go 10 sec. 1/4. good luck.

ehhhh with 2.3 engine and cams, cam gears and IC you will hit mid to low 11s Which i am aiming for. 10sec I am not sure ( I don’t think so ) at least with the full weight of the car. I am going to do all above plus shave 500 LBS of my EVO and will see.

no you won't. the ATP 3071 doesn't flow enough air up top, it just kinda chokes off. But before you get your panties in a twist AGAIN Az3ar, just shut me up and prove me wrong.

FWIW, according to the compressor maps, the ATP 3071r is at the outer edge of its efficiency zone at 27 psi. A 3037 would be necessary to get to 30-32psi...and it will just barely do it before blowing its cool. No problem at all with a GT35.

I dont know why you guys have to follow us the 3071 guys and keep talking ****. your baby 16G will not hold a hair to my 3071 and the 3037 will never have full boost by 3700RPM so I know what i am doing.

I have full boost at 3300rpm and it doesnt run out of breath. If ppl are making 400+whp out of the stocker what makes you think that a larger turbo will not make more???? Ohya my new turbo spools faster than my stocker and pulls hard than it too, by far running a 10.8 a/f and 19.5 lbs of boost.

Pardon, but I don't know who 'you guys' are, nor who the '3071 guys' are, nor does it matter to me. I'm not here to 'follow' anyone. I simply learn, provide technical information, and make intelligent comments where I deem them to be informative and/or helpful.

Panties in a twist, once again.

1) Shut me up man, lets see some performance numbers. Its really not that hard.

2) Who's following? I post everywhere. Thats what usually happens on forums, i hate to inform you.

3) Once again, all homoeroticism aside, lets see something. So far you have been nothing but talk.

Pardon, but what I posted was a purely objective comment (I have no agenda), and has nothing to do with what I like or dislike, which makes no difference to anyone but myself anyway.

As for 3071s, unfortunately, there is more than one 3071, and the price difference between them is substantial. FWIW, I hope you or someone can demonstrate big numbers with an ATP 3071, which AFAIK, remains to be seen. If you do (and I hope you do), it will make my purchasing decision easy and relatively cheap. If not, then the status quo unfortunately remains.

Of course not. Talk talk talk until its time to show some proof. Ted B, don't bother with it.

For the record, I was never saying the 3071 turbo itself was bad, but the ATP one is saaaad.

What makes you say this ALEX ALEX? Have you had any first hand experience with this kit or ever seen the product itself or are you just looking for some time to kill ? Chris has the 35r with the same hotside and has made 540 whp with this kit which equalls what everyone else has made with other kits. It is the most streetable turbo out of any turbo on the market . Closest to stock spool and a nice increase in power.
If you think the design of the so called bottle neck is hindering the turbo , you my freind have not dealt with my turbo cars or even seen one. Anyone can just hit a link and see compressor maps and say they suck but on what standings are you making this claim. I would be very much inclined to hear your side of this story.
