"your baby 16G will not hold a hair to my 3071 and the 3037 will never have full boost by 3700RPM so I know what i am doing" ahhh yes the whole my turbo is bigger then your turbo mentality....the size of a turbo doesn't matter. you match your turbo the your setup. having a 3071 does not mean you'll be able to make more power then a well tuned stock turbo evo. it just gives you the ability for more options. good and bad.

Exactly.Az3ar, instead of cheap talk about seeing your tailights, lets see some proof. Jesus Christ.
Az3ar, You turbo kit is limited but hey Curt Brown went 11.3 at 122 on the stocker so anything is possible. BTW On my 91 octane map my 3037 hits full boost at about 3300 rpms. However ,that is just a guesstimate and in the future I will test it out with Smoggy in the car to make sure that the rpm #s are correct. BTW Az3ar go out and get some numbers and then you will truely know where you stand. As it is you will struggle to get into the low 12s maybe high 11s.Remember Evo8powa with all his talk about 11s with his buscher stage 4 with Dynoflash. Then he went BR 500 and still stayed in the low 12s.He cursed himself with all of his hot air and 11s Not as easy as some think. 10s= new turbo kit 35r and maybe a new driver.

People have made 400+whp out of the stocker with some good mods and an AEM Ems. I have had mine at 2.1 bars =30 psi before and nothing blew, so its capability to make boost up that high is a different story. I will be getting an AEM soon on my setup and I will post some sheets soon. I am sure that at 32 psi the turbo is about maxed out, I have talked with a couple guys and they say the turbo can go up to 32psi but that is going out of its efficientency range. If I wanted a HP queen I would have the 35r but I like more usable power as this is my daily driver. Also with the whole efficiency , a turbo is only as strong as the supporting mods. With the correct modifications you can go beyond the turbos range as far as rated horsepower.

do you have numbers??? until this moment i have not seen your number son a dyno jet??? do you have any??
Um, a couple of problems...
It makes little sense to talk of pressure and efficiency unless rpm is factored into the equation. A turbo efficient at 27psi at 5000rpm may not be efficient at 27psi at 7000rpm.
If anyone has made 400whp (DJ) on pump fuel with the stock turbo, I'd like to know more about the setup. In any case, it's hardware contingent and really has nothing to do whether an EMS is used or not.
And no modifications will allow a turbo to do what it cannot do.

I don’t know why some members ( ted B, IE and ALEX ALEx)on these forums keep following the 3071 threads all over. The guy was asking clearly about installing the kit and if we (3071 owners) have one and what we think. I don’t know why you guys have to follow (I can point the 3 of you to every 3071 thread especially for ATP) and give bad comments and start a flame war. The truth is many many people are choosing this kit for the price and for the stealth reliable stock look and of course low cost. I see saving $2k and loosing 20WHP is a great deal. When I hit 430WHP with all supporting modes and IE hits 450 I see no reason to spend so much extra cash for 20 or even 30 WHP and loose some stealth hidden look NOTE: my car was completely inspected in VA here last week and they did not even know I have a bigger turbo. Many have owned this kit and they love it because it was made for a purpose and it served its purpose well.
About numbers I still have only 400 miles on my new twin clutch and I am waiting to break it in as I work from home and I put less than 20 miles a week on my car. Its getting cold here and I have no time as I am buying a house. However, I AM GOING TO THE TRACK VERY SOON. I am sure that I will hit low low 12 or high 11s with my twin clutch (I can launch it pretty well)
IE you can’t compare BR500 with this turbo as they are 2 different applications for 2 different approaches so your point here is invalid.
Alex please stop acting like a kid and following me all over making none sense comments and I am happy for your turbo and your tune choice as well.
I am sure that none of you have driven an EVO with 3071 so don’t make comments and base you opinion on some yap yap yap from other people.
