Well one of our good evo friends has blown his engine last night, Turbo kit, Cams, Engine management.. put together in 1 week,one sweet ride... blew up in 10 seconds.. hopefully he shares some insights, and also some future possibilities..

Not a joke... im waiting for the flame post against me from him for opening my mouth before any elaboration.. hehe Id say by Noon. Lets just say it wasnt due to the awsome performance parts...but from my understanding, not paying close attention to the proper gauges.. Regardless...when this car comes back from the dead...its going to be one very scary beast....
The only gauges that should cause an engine to grenade by ignoring them are oil pressure and water temp. Anything else should have policed itself prior to detonation. Wouldn't be the first to go from low oil though.
Your forgetting the Boost Gauge and mechanical failure as well. Possibly some parts didnt function properly, and managment could therefore not control, and Boost sky rockets without one noticing, and KaBooom! POW!! ShaaBANNG!! Whooop!... Pscchheewww...sputter sputter errscratcch crank crank Dead.....Batman
