I'm having this problem in my 05 with a type s (spring mod), test pipe and catback. When I ran this setup with my 03 I didn't have this issue. I'm not sure if my 05 did this when it was stock. I only drove it for less than 100 miles before I put some mods on.

lets put our heads together and find a damn fix.
i know that its not CLUTCH or THROW OUT BEARING
i know that its also not the BOV
what about ECU. i got dynoflashed a while back.
its not ECU either I dont think, mine started right after I did the XEDE and making more power and blew off a vacuum hose, so I tried using the stock BOV.....still did it....so i unhooked the XEDE and used just stock ECU....still did it...So I have ruled out that its not the XEDE, and its not BOV related. Clutch, i dunno, im still on stock. I wish someone would find a fix though.

Oh and it also seems to be weather related...It only does it the most or at all on cold days.

i had the same problem in my previous WRX....
i think it caused by 1. ecu. 2. mbc. either one of those is not setting right or not corresponding to each other.

thats an Idea...I do have a MBC, but have had it on for a while now... I could and should be using the XEDE to control boost, but have yet to get it hooked back up. I can put it all back together to be able to use, but my problem would be setting up my XEDE to use boost.

I dunno how it could be related to a boost leak?? I honestly doubt it has anything to do with boost control either, guys who are stock are saying they have the problem.

My car does this too. It isn't me not letting off the gas because it did it when I took my foot off the gas to slow down for a stop sign then put clutch in to stop completely. I hadn't hit the gas in atleast 2-3 seconds before I put in the clutch. My car is completely stock with only 550 miles on it too. I would really like to know what causes this......

Try Japeneese foot binding. Your big foot is probably dragging on the brake pedal and you are not getting completly off the gas like you think you are. Seriously though there are certain shoes that I have that will not allow me to shift this car efficiently.

The pedals are definately pretty close down there, but I have had my Evo now for about 14 months and this only started happening about 2 months ago. I have 23k on my car and about 6-7k on my ACT clutch. What about the clutch adjustment under the pedal?

The mods I have done since this started happening are HKS cams, UR Test Pipe and TT flash.
