Les,
you are a pimp!

question: What is that aluminum collector(?) above the top of the intake? is that just to divert the air?

Soo many questions to ask... can't wait to see the real deal.

Not really. A twin scroll has a lesser tendency for reversion by virtue of its design, but in reality, there isn't enough overlap in the factory cams to make reversion a significant issue for Mitsu. Why not whip out your calculator and tell us what rpm you'd have to turn to 'stack' pulses in one runner anyway? I think you'll find that number to be well off the end of your tach. The primary purpose of the twin scroll design is simply to minimize lag and improve low speed response.

Again, just use a calculator and look at the specifics. What applies to exhaust design for normally aspirated cars cannot be directly applied to any app that pressurizes the intake.

There will be some air diversion, but it is a custom battery mt. I belive you mean that aluminum square piece below and right of the K&N. Anyway when we cruise you can see it and in person.

Wink

I guess I don't really know alot about the pulses and preasures, but this design is claimed to be more efficient for my needs as true street car with 600 awhps. I trust in Tyms ability and knowledge to produce at what ever cost.
