Thanks for the tip on pulling the TC. From other threads I have read you either need to pull the engine mounts or the sub frame.

Anything else to be aware of when pulling the TC?

John when are you guys offering to remove the TC and rebuilt as well? Price?
We are trying to set something up with a local shop so we can offer some R&R type services to people who would like to get the work done in a day.

Yeah. Sometimes techs at the dealers are stupid and put the wromg fluids. Have them analyze them. I almost had a mitsu tech put the wrong fluids in last weekend!!

You are right! I checked with the dealer today and they have the correct fluids. The other dealer that changed the t-case fluids billed me for fuel injection cleaner! The current dealer looked at the invoice and was really puzzled. Who knows what they put in! I am glad the new t-case will have the correct fluids. Lession learned!

This is so true, not that they are stupid but they often put the wrong oil in the transfer case and never even know that they are doing something terribly WRONG.

I've tried on several occasions to get in touch with anyone who gives a damn about making sure that the Mitsu techs are putting in the correct oil.

Think about it, all it would take is for someone to get off their **** and send a memo to every dealership that services these cars. It could save them a bunch money...
