That being said, I couldn't give you an answer even though you were tring to "back me into a corner" (your words, not mine) is because we really do have to take this as a case by case issue. There's many many reasons for this, from differing resolution perspectives of customers, various bodykits, modifications may cause bumper burning regardless of exhaust, bad installation, etc. etc. Therefore despite the hypothetical cases that you brought up, I really cannot give you an answer until everything is reviewed by everyone involved.

Once again sorry for the whole situation.

I will do whatever it takes to protect my integrity in this public forum. Indeed, I did not telephone and represent myself on behalf of the EvoM community. Why would anyone say such a proposterous statement? My conscience is clear on this.

On the matter of Shiv taking care of me, yes he did. The issue is not my issue being resolved but whether others will be as well. Your initial answer to me was a negative. What I am trying to communicate on this forum is the disparity to which Shiv is treating his customers vs you, Cal, and Gruppe-S. My answer to your post lays out my arguments logically.

Gary, I am still unsure as to what points you are trying to debate. The thread has outlined the customer's complaints clearly: Helix exhaust and fitment issues, all with common left side fit. We can debate about incorrect install but there are too many coincidences here to point to other factors such as other mods and bodykits. How you respond is being watched.

Your negative response to me was not what I call "taking care of the customer". The forum members need to hear this and make their own judgement. Hence my posts. Apology accepted but I will be satisfied if others will be taken care as I have.

Its about 3am right now and I just couldn't sleep because of people having issues w/ the current batch of Helix exhaust system. And quite frankly, I really want to make our customers happy with our products. Thats why we at Gruppe-S including myself are trying to resolve this "issue" case by case by offering various compensations. A lot of people have emailed and PM'd me in regards to this current problem, and I have sent out Helix warranty claim form for them to fill out. And believe me, I know its an hassle to fill out these forms. But there are a lot of options in this form that will remedy this current situation without further headaches for all. This is just the best and proper procedure Helix and Gruppe-S can do to prevent future issues.

And quite honestly, this is problem isn't just with Helix. I have tried numerous JDM (angled style) exhaust systems on the market. And just about every single one of them have the same issue or two. For example, HKS Hiper exhaust system. This exhaust system will basically cause melted bumper or dis-coloring the right side of your bumper if you ask around. And believe me.. there are a lot of customers who have complaint about this..but this is just the way HKS made their exhaust system for U.S spec bulging bumpers.

And as for the Greddy EVO2 system that is on my car right now.. its great looking stealth exhaust, but the tip is tucked quite far inside that it is causing the whole contour of exhaust cut-out on the bumper to stain as well.

With that said, I have actually brought up these issues w/ our suppliers and basically they just gave me the same answer.. "sorry, thats just the way it is".
And for a small company like Helix to step up and be willing to make things right by offering compensation and accomondation to those unhappy weary customers, I think this tells alot about a company's integrity and its customer service.

I am not trying side step the problem by comparing it similar complaints with HKS or GReddy proudcts since this thread is about Helix. I am just here to give some examples of what we have seen in this market and are trying our best to accomondate our customers when issues have arised w/ Helix products, case by case.

So to reitterate, if anyone has issues or is not happy with Helix products, please do not hesitate to either give us a call (510)783-5300, PM us or send us email at cal@gruppe-s.com, sales@gruppe-s.com, gary@gruppe-s.com. We are aware of the issue and are doing our best to resolve the problems you are experiencing and at the same time trying to better ourselves with our services.

Now its 3:30am PDT and I am not sure if I actually make any sense to you all.. But I just felt its my responsiblity to voice out my personal opinion, and get this burden off my chest. Remember you are all free to voice your own opinion whether you agree with me or not.

Anyhow, I better get some sleep now...

LoL ok i dont want to start a flame war or anything of the sort, but if i am reading this right our so noble Captain in the air force has been harassing Gruppe-S over a product he bought at Vishnu (nothing against them hell I love my Exede and custom Shiv tune) had a similar problem to those on this post, and Vishnu went ahead and paid to get repaired and even replace his rear bumper due to the extreme nature of his damage. now here is a quote "had the same problems....exhaust was bent to the left. Melted right throught the fender. B/c i got this with my Stage 1+ at Vishnu, they are going to replace it free of charge." So therefore you didnt buy this Helix product here instead you bought it at Vishnu....just wanted to point that out

Now I ask myself why the heck would you be bothering Gruppe-S and getting other members on here worried about the length before they are responded too and bumping the post to see whats going on. Gruppe-S has always been 100% awesome with me putting up with my constant questions, and always taking the time to answer me. These guys went so far to send me a fuel pump when i needed it and i was visitng home on my word that i would sent back my other fuel pump i had already purchased from them but had left back home (6 hour drive away and i needed it)

Now i agree with you Capt'n we should look out for our fellow Evom members but this is ridiculous if you take the time to read their posts they are handling it on a case by case, some people bought it off someone else who got if from god knows where and they are trying to get reinbustment from Gruppe-S (what kind of customer service would that be if they replced any crappy product i bought somehwere else). So since you yourself claim you bought yours from Vishnu and they already treated you like you expect to get treated why are you still Trolling this board trying to put Gary and Cal up against the wall to get a definiative "YES WE WILL REPLACE YOUR MELTED BUMPER OUT OF OUR OWN POCKETS JUST LIKE VISHNU DID FOR YOU" Let them see what their customers have to say, and give it time, i am sure as they take care of people and as helix takes care of their problem it will all be posted on here for people to see. And as for some people not getting replied to Cal himself said Gary was out of town

Sorry to rant but I hate it when people use these forums to push a vendor on here just to promote someone else, granted like i said I love Vishnu too, they are a super class act and have helped me with any issue i have had with them very much like Gruppe-S has helped me with any issue i may have had with them, both on a case by case issue and guess what it was nobodies business but Vishnu and I, and Gruppe-S and I. and personally i applaud both of these companies because both have done amazing jobs taking care of me and ensuring my return business with them


anyways thats it for now i guess sorry again for the rant and i honestly dont mean this as a personal attack at jkim2001 but i just didnt understand where his claims and why he is so intent on pushing Gruppe-S against a wall

Wow that "damage" is not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Can you even see that from standing eye level?

lol yeah u cant c it at all the only thing that bothers me about it is knowing its thier and i just want it to stop honestly i think they should just release a HOW TO FIX IT and ill do and go on my way

this thread is closed now due to the fact that Gruppe-s is solving the issue. if anyonne has a problem or need help, feel free tro contact me or gruppe-s directly. also, there is no need for people that have nothing to do with this to get involved. if your issue was solved than please do not continue to haress a vendor.
