To people with Helix Catbacks

I just installed the Helix exhaust. I really love it except for the fact that its not centered coming out of the back, its coming out too close to the left side. Anyone else have this problem? I tried adjusting it but nothing really helped, I guess I have the hangers moved?

Mine is pretty close to the left side also, I guess this is normal. The rod that you are talking about is actually a tool used to remove the silencer (if you ever put it in).

have you tried to angle it right first before tightening it?the helix on my sisters car was kinda like that but pretty much centered now,you can use the kartboy hangers also if you want to get stiffer hangers.

Well I guess Im going to have to just take it to a muffler shop and have it angled right. I noticed my bumper has already started to melt near the tip (inside), not noticeable but enough to make me mad . I guess thats tomorrows project.

Mine too. It looks good at the tip but it touches at the very inner edge and melted the bumper. It's not very visible so Idon't care.
Does your silencer goes in? Mine doesn't fit.

I had to bend a hanger and also had to use kartboy hangers to get it right.

I really dont understand these forums. I researched exhaust systems for a while before I got one. I heard not ONE complaint about the Helix CATBACK. I did hear some complaints about rattling downpipes and such but that goes for other vendors as well. Anyway, not ONE mention of this was mentioned. If I knew it was going to sit like that, I wouldnt have gotten it. Its just one more thing I have to go do to make it looks like its SUPPOSE TO. I am quite unimpressed with Helix products thus far. The adapter plate for the Helix Intake didnt fit that well either. I should have stopped there! Now I know why you should stick with the $ names like Greddy and HKS, even BR!. Their products fit like a damn jimmy hat!
